Patricia J Benigas

Hermitage Patricia J.Benigas, 82, passed away Friday evening, August 21, 2015 at Sharon Regional Hospital. Pat was born on October 19, 1932 in Xenia, OH, a daughter of the late Clark and Laura (Planck) Starr. She is a graduated of Enon High School and was a former resident of Xenia, OH before moving to this area in 1951. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in New Wilmington, PA where she got to show her love for the Lord. Anyone that knew Pat thought she was a fun and sweet lady. She loved to be around her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed to read. She will be deeply missed by her children, Carl Sumner of Erie, PA, Carol (Gary) Peterson of Hermitage, PA, and Kelly (Edward) McQuiston of Hermitage, PA; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Benigas, whom she married on May 9, 1969 and passed away on August 15, 2008; her son Daniel Sumner; her brother Joe Starr; and her sister Jane Hurley.
