Patricia Jean Drennen

Patricia Jean "Patty" Drennen, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at her home surrounded by her children and beloved dog, Lily. She was born on September 27, 1937 in Warren, OH daughter of the late, William and Jennie (Brzezinski) Derskovic. Patty graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1955. After high school she worked for the Trumbull County Sheriffs Department, then went on to Grinnell Corporation where she met her husband, Don A. Drennen Jr. and they were married on August 17, 1957. Patty then took time off of work to raise her children and take care of her family. After all of the children were grown, Patty went back to work for Letson, Griffith, Woodall and Lavelle Law Office, CSEA of Trumbull County and ultimately TMHA where she retired. Patty was a member of Howland Community Church and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She loved gardening, sewing, traveling, watching sporting events and going to concerts. She enjoyed creating crafts and was an artist. Most of all, Patty loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Patty is survived by her six children, Jennie Campbell, Don A. Drennen III, Kathleen (Chuck) Campbell, Suzie (Nick) Roberts, John W. Drennen and Charles E. (Becky) Drennen; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Campbell, Daniel Campbell, Alexander Campbell, Hannah Roberts, Abigail Roberts, Chloe Drennen, Chuckie Drennen and Allison Drennen; and her only sibling, her brother William S. Derskovic. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Don Allen Drennen Jr.; her parents and a son-in-law, William J. Campbell. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, OH from 10:30AM to 12:00PM Funeral services will follow calling hours on Saturday at the funeral home, beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will be held privately at Niles Union Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you and deep appreciation to Hospice of the Valley for their kindness, compassion and exceptional care.
