Patricia Jean Pastor

Services will be 11 am Monday in Ohltown United Methodist Church for Patricia Jean Pastor, 80, of Mineral Ridge formerly of Youngstown who passed away Thursday in Glen View Manor. Patricia was born May 23, 1925 in Youngstown the daughter of Peter V. and Eleanor (Thomas) Mershimer and was a life long area resident. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, a member of the church, and was a volunteer and former coordinator for the American Cancer Society where she was named woman of the year in 1993. Her husband, William E. Pastor Sr. whom she married January 2, 1943, passed away June 12, 1983. She leaves a son William E. Pastor Jr. of Canfield, two grandsons; Will and Dan, and her cousin and close friend Beverly McKinley. Besides her husband, Patricia is preceded in death by a sister Joyce Mershimer and a brother Peter Mershimer. Family and friends may call from 10 am until the time of services on Monday at the Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests material tributes take the form of donations to the Ohltown United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements were by the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel.
