Patricia Sue Nicholas

Patricia Nicholas, of Niles, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2011 in her home following a battle with cancer. She was 58 years old. Patricia was born on March 17, 1952 in Warren the daughter of the late Opal (Mowery) Williams and attended Niles McKinley High School. A homemaker all of her married life, Pat enjoyed family activities. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, writing poetry and most importantly enjoyed the time that she spent with her grandchildren. Pat loved to watch Reality TV and the Food Network. Memories will be remembered and celebrated by her family; her husband James C. Nicholas Sr. whom she married on November 13, 1971; four children James C. Nicholas Jr. of Niles, Julie (Robert) Chambers of Niles, Carla (James) Cicero of Lebanon, Illinois and Marc Nicholas of Niles; three brothers Doug (Patty) Fife and Roy Fife all of Niles and Brian Fife of Dayton; a sister Bobbie (Dave) Wilson of Lordstown; four grandchildren Matthew Nicholas and Gabriella, Vincent and Nicholas Cicero and numerous other family members. Besides her mother Opal, Pat was preceded in death by a sister Faye Glowicki. Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Lane Funeral Home Niles Chapel 415 Robbins Ave, Niles, Ohio 44446. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Niles City Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Pat's name to Hospice of the Valley, 5000 East Market Street Suite 19, Warren, Ohio 44484
