Patsy Anthony Serrecchio

AUSTINTOWN- Patsy Anthony Serrecchio, 94, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, April 16, 2015. He was born on April 13, 1921 in Youngstown, OH, son of the late Joseph and Mary (DePinto) Serrecchio. Patsy served in the United States Air Force during WWII and was honorably discharged on January 10, 1946. Patsy worked as a machinist for Commercial Shearing, retiring in 1986. Patsy will be remembered for his love of gardening and tinkering with various projects. Left to carry on Patsy's memory is his daughter, Pam (Ted Anzelmo) Tatarka; his step-daughter, Patricia (Albert) Schuley; his grandchildren, John Tatarka and Chris (Kristin) Tatarka; his step-grandchildren, Melanie (Jason) Cochran and Brian (Monica) Schuley; his great-granddaughter, Ella Tatarka; his step-great-grandsons, Connor and Sean Cochran; his sister, Rose (Donald) Santarelli; and his brother, Joseph Serrecchio; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Patsy is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Anna Mae (Fercana) Serrecchio; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers. The family will receive friends Monday, April 20, 2015 from 9AM-10AM at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave. A funeral service will follow at 10AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
