Paul A. "Bud" Tarleton, Sr.

Paul A. "Bud" Tarleton, Sr., age 77 of Warren, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at his home. He was born February 12, 1936 in Gypsy, West Va. the son of the late James and Virginia McDougal Tarleton. He was a lifetime Warren area resident. Paul worked for Heckett Engineering of Harsco Corp. at LTV-Republic Steel for 42 years as an equipment operator, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed auto mechanics, woodworking and flower and vegetable gardening. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. Paul is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol Jeanne Lenhart Tarleton, whom he married February 6, 1957; one daughter, Terry Lynn (Roger) Gilbert of Welland, Ontario; three sons, Paul A. (Tami) Tarleton Jr. of Champion, Craig A. (Sandra) Tarleton of Surprise, Ariz. and Jeffery A. Tarleton of Warren; five grandchidlren, Natasha (Fred) Leeworthy, Lindsay and Brad Tarleton, Christine Gilbert and Kayla Tarleton and one great grandson, Joey Leeworthy. Two brothers, James and Donnie Tarleton and one sister, Patricia Jones have all preceded him in death. The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Lane Family Funeral Homes - Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon before the service on Saturday. Pastor Lee Lenhart will officiate. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
