Paul H. Jones

Paul H. Jones, of Brooksville, Florida and formerly of Youngstown, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in his home in Florida. He was 88 years old. Mr. Jones was born on June 9, 1922 in Youngstown the son of the late Carl B. and Beatrice (Smith) Jones and was a 1940 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Army. After returning from the service he worked for Peterson Webster Electric Co. In 1958, along with his brother Don, he started Jones Electric and then Paul moved on to own and operate Power Tool & Supply, where he would work until his retirement. Mr. Jones was an avid fisherman and golfer. He loved to play bridge and share time with his family while playing board games. Mr. Jones is survived by three children James (Linda) Jones of Austintown, Janice (Joe Bilek) Monico of Buffalo, NY and Cheryl (Clifford) Hill of Brooksville; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Besides his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife Betty I. Jones who passed away on March 27, 2007; three brothers Carl, Don and Ron Jones; two grandsons Tim and Tom Baun and a great granddaughter Kaitlin Sturgeon.
