Paul L. Wagner

Funeral services will be held Noon on Thursday December 12, 2013 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Canfield Chapel for Paul L. Wagner, 76 of Canfield who passed away Saturday evening at Blossom Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Salem. Paul was born September 23, 1937 in Youngstown the son of Paul and Anna (Madden) Wagner. He was raised in the Canfield area for most of his life, by his grandparents Lester B. and Florence Wagner. Paul retired from General Motors in Lordstown as a Millwright after 30years of service. He was a graduate of Canfield High School class of 1956 and a charter member of the Ruritan Club of Canfield. Paul leaves his wife of 56 years, the former Patricia Miller, whom he married in September 1957. Their three children, Carole Ludwig of Salem, Craig Wagner and his wife Connie of New Middletown, and Paul L. Wagner III of Salem, five grandchildren, Luke and Daniel Ludwig, Steven, Paul IV and Bill Wagner. Paul also leaves three brothers, Tom, Gary, and George Wagner and one sister Christine Smith all of Niles. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday and again from 11 AM until Noon on Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel, where services will be held at Noon on Thursday. The family suggests material tributes take the form of donations to the charity of the donor's choice in Paul's name.
