A memorial mass will be held 10 am Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church for Paul Lawrence Oklota, 61 of Boardman formerly of Austintown who passed away early Saturday Morning in Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. Paul was born December 1, 1943 in Pittsburgh the son of Paul and Martha (Kawalewski) Oklota. He had worked as a sales representative for Culligan Water Systems. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a Catholic in faith, a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles post # 3298, the OH-PEN Roads Car Club, the Harley Owners Group, a HAM radio operator, a former volunteer with the Austintown Fire Department, a former soccer coach with the Austintown Junior Soccer League, former Cub Master with Pack 83 of the Cub Scouts, and a member of the NRA. He leaves four children Paul M. of Pittsburgh, Christopher (Christina) of Boston, Jeremy (Angela) of Canfield, and Dr. Carrie (Adam) Oklota Fadell of Cortland, two sisters Judi Mainiero and Doris McCafferty and two brothers Ronnie and Jimmy Oklota all of Pittsburgh, and one granddaughter Gracie Oklota of Canfield. Family and friends may call form 5 to 7 pm Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
