Paul M. Klacik Sr.

AUSTINTOWN- Paul M. Klacik Sr., 85, passed away Wednesday morning, March 25, 2015. He was born on February 18, 1930 in Canfield, OH, son to the late John J. Sr. and Mary H. (Stegana) Klacik. Paul was a Austintown-Fitch High School Graduate. Paul ran his own business as a plasterer for many years. He went on to work as a machine operator for Packard Electric, retiring after 25 years. On May 31, 1952 he married the former Donna J. Davis. They spent the next 59 years together before Donna passed away on September 19, 2011. Paul will always be remembered for his love of fishing and spending time by the fireplace. Left to mourn Paul's passing are two sons, Mike Klacik of Austintown and Daniel Klacik of Austintown; two daughters, Diane Redfern of Austintown and Mary (Henry) Fetty of Austintown; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and his brother, John J. (Rosemarie) Klacik Jr. of Austintown. In addition to his loving wife and parents, Paul is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Ralph Redfern. The family will receive friends from 12PM-1PM on Friday, March 27 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave. A funeral service will follow at 1PM. Interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made in Paul's memory to the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Youngstown, OH 44501.
