BOARDMAN- Services will be held --- AM Tuesday at St. Anne’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Austintown for Paul Senich of Lockwood Blvd. Boardman who died Saturday evening at his residence of cancer. Mr. Senich was born on July 3, 1923 in Youngstown, the son of John and Julia (Kostick) Senich. Mr. Senich retired in 1980 after working 39 years as a maintenance foreman for USS Corp. Ohio Works in Youngstown. He served in WWII in the Atlantic Theatre as a member of the U.S. Army. He was active in church activities including bingo, ushering, festivals and pirohy sales. He is survived by his wife, the former Ida Hughes, whom he married June 12, 1944, three children, Sharryn M. Manley, Janice L. Drozda and Paul M. Senich all of Youngstown, two sisters, Mary Gondol and Jean Senich, both of Youngstown, grandchildren Stephanie M. Remias, Natalie J. Manley, Richard M. Manley, Carrie L. Viola, Todd A. Manley, Nicole M. Drozda and Michael Drozda, and three great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, four sisters, Ann Olson, Katherine Senich, Evelyn Senich, and Clara Senich and two brothers, Michael and John Senich. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services at the church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, material tributes be made to Hospice of the Valley or to the church.
