Pearl E. Hollowell, 98, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Austintown, died of pneumonia, Wednesday at Cornerstone Hospice in Sumterville, Florida. Mrs. Hollowell was born October 2, 1912, in Fowler, Ohio, a daughter of Elizabeth and Edward Gould. She owned, along with her husband, Austintown Coal and Supply until retiring in 1966. She was a member of the Canadian Club and Friends Bowling League of The Villages and the American Bowling Assoc. 600 Club. Deceased are her husband William whom she married on March 28, 1931. She leaves two sons Robert of The Villages, Florida and Thomas of St. Joseph, Michigan, and a daughter Janet Donald of Mooresville, North Carolina; two brothers, James of St. Louis, Missouri and George of Canfield, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, William; and 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Services will be at 11 AM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel, where friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
