Pearl Louise Kirkwood

Pearl Louise Kirkwood, 80 entered into eternal peace on Thursday morning, August 16, 2018, at her home in Vienna. She was born November 30, 1937 in Leavittsburg the daughter of the late Frances Syauovich Kirkwood and Harrison Kirkwood. Upon graduation from Johnston High School in 1956, Pearl began working at the Ohio Lamp General Electric plant in Warren. After 38 years of dedicated service, she retired in 1994. Pearl lived most of her adult life in Warren, but moved to South Carolina in 2006. "P.K." enjoyed working outside in her yard, chatting with her close neighbor, jigsaw puzzles, ice cream with potato chips at night, and a cold beer (but only one a year). Pearl is survived by three sisters, her twin, Helen Santos of Calif., Anna Mae (Fred) Reeves of Salem,OH and Elizabeth Armbasick of Columbia, SC and many nieces and nephews and their families. Besides by her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Marjorie Kincaid. Cremation will be held and a memorial gathering and service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna, next to her beloved mother and sisters. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland.
