Pearl Yeager, of Girard, passed away early Thursday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. She was 90. Pearl was born September 16, 1914 in Niles, OH a daughter of the late Harry E. and Minnie (Hopkinson) Miller. She retired after many years as an inspector for General Electric in Niles. She was a member of the Summit Assembly of God, where she was involved with the Woman’s Ministries, had served on the church board for many years and also played the piano. She loved sewing and crocheting and won numerous awards for sewing and baking at the Canfield Fair. She is survived by her daughter Lori (Chris) Woolley of Mineral Ridge; one brother Harry Miller of Munhall, PA and two grandchildren. Besides her parents Pearl is preceded in death by her husband Floyd C. “Smiley” Yeager; two sisters Minnie Yeager and Ann Young; and two brothers Eugene and Lynn Miller. Calling hours will be from 2-5 PM Sunday and from 12-1 PM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday.
