Phyllis R. Demarco

Phyllis R. (Johnson) DeMarco, age 75, of Cortland died Monday morning, February 25, 2008, at her home. She was born August 22, 1932 in Joliet, IL the daughter of the late Albin and Lucille (Bidgood) Johnson. Phyllis retired from the housekeeping dept. at the Best Western Motel on Mahoning Avenue in Warren. She had worked at Jewel Food Stores in the deli in Joliet, IL for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Joliet. She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Papineau of Bourbonais, IL, and Angela and Dawna DeMarco both of Warren; one son, David DeMarco of West Frankfort, IL; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Her husband, Arthur P. DeMarco, one daughter, Toni Douglas, 2 grandchildren, one sister and one brother all have preceded in death. Arrangements are being handled by Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren. A memorial funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Joliet, IL at 10:00 am Saturday, March 8, 2008. Burial will be in Joliet.
