Ralph J. Delplato, 98 Ralph J. Delplato, 98 of Canfield died Sunday morning at Hospice House of Poland. Mr. Delplato was born May 3, 1914 in Willoughby, Ohio, a son of the late Antonio and Nicolette Colucci Delplato. He graduated from the Rayen School in 1933 and had worked as a production controller for Commercial Shearing for 37 yearsMr. Delplato enjoyed playing pinochle and working in his garden. His wife, the former Mary Delsignore whom he married November 7, 1936, died January 8, 2002. He leaves his 4 daughters, Sandra (Bob) Shellito of Hubbard, Shirley (Frank) Baumstark of Desert Hot Springs, California, Kathy (Steve) Fisher, Marilynn (Steve) Horvat all of Canfield; 1 sister, Aurelia Teceau of California; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and his beloved dog, Beau. Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Delores Moore; three sisters, Lillian Gurgos, Frances Sims and Ann Joy. There will be no services or calling hours for Mr. Delplato per his wishes. Arrangements are being handled by Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
