Randy Dean "Papa" Findlay, 49 of Warren passed away September 15, 2009 at his home. He was born in Canton on October 13, 1959, the son of Richard Findlay and Barbara (John) Lampkin. Randy is a veteran of the United States Army. For all who knew him; he will be remembered as a hardworking, loving husband, who would always be the first to help anyone in need and "papa" to his granddaughter Siri whom he enjoyed walking the trails at Howland Park. He was a member of Believers Christian Fellowship Church and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He married his wife the former Susan Sexton on October 11, 2001 by whom he is survived. Also surviving him are his three step children; Joshua Stevens of Warren, Jessica Stevens of Harker Heights, Texas, and Julie (Ted) Kester of Youngstown; siblings Keith (Kelly) Lampkin of Greensburg, Pa, Tami Lampkin (fiance Jeff Smith) of Naples, Florida, Aunt Yvonne Kinnard, his granddaughter Siri Goodyear, his father Richard of Canton and stepfather John Lampkin. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Lampkin in 2004, his unborn son Jordan Findlay and his step grandson Joshua Nicholas Stevens who both passed away in 1999. Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday September 21, 2009 at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren with Rev Chris Mowrey officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Howland Township Cemetery. The family has requested donations be made to First Place Bank, 8226 East Market Street, Warren, Ohio 44484 to help with expenses.
