Raymond L. "Cappy" Cappy, age 66, of Youngstown died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Born August 3, 1945 in Kingston, Surrey, England, he was the son of Ralph Henry and Winifred (May) Cappy; he lived in Youngstown all of his life. Mr. Cappy retired from General Motors after over 30 years of service, he was a member of UAW#1112; he served in the US Navy as well as the US Air Force Reserves. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Darla L. (Price); son Raymond M of Youngstown; daughter Amanda Fincham of Youngstown; step son Anthony R. Carmendy of Colorado; step-daughters Brenda Anne Carmendy of Berlin Center and Angela Marie Village of Youngstown. Grandchildren: Anthony Village, Christopher Walker, Hunter Yoak, Jordan Carmendy, Alexis Carmendy, Jacqueline Cassity, Jessica Fincham, and Ava Carmendy. He is also survived by sisters: Marie Clowser of Stow, Marilyn Luzader of Akron and Maureen Craig of Boardman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Cappy. Funeral services will be held at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel on Saturday at 10:30 AM, friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
