Rebecca "Becky" Davis

Rebecca "Becky" Davis, of Mineral Ridge, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 3:40 p.m. in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 51 years old. Becky was born on December 21, 1958 in Summerduck, Virginia, the daughter of T. Kenneth and Barbara (Conn) Chapman and was a 1977 graduate of Fauquier High School in Virginia. Becky was previously employed as a Bar Tender at T & G Lounge in Mineral Ridge. Becky enjoyed shopping, gardening and socializing. To her family, Becky was "Our Social Butterfly". Becky is survived by her husband Richard "Dick" Davis of the home, her mother, Barb of the home, children Mandy (Scott) Sparks of McDonald, Melissa Darden of Mineral Ridge, Emmitt "Ricky" (Michelle) Davis of Mineral Ridge, Jessica Davis of Cleveland, Jeremy Davis of Girard and Jason (Jana) Davis of Girard; brothers Thomas K. (LeAnn) Chapman Jr. of Fredicksburg, VA, Robert (Debbie) Chapman of Summerduck and John (Lisa) Chapman of Kentucky; her mother-in-law Carol Davis of Austintown; brother-in-law Robert (April) Davis of South Carolina and 11 grandchildren. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Chapman. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at Evansville Baptist Church, 1585 Ohltown-McDonald Road, Mineral Ridge, Ohio, 44440 Arrangements are being handled under the direction of the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel.
