Regina Davidson

There will be a funeral service 1:30 PM Friday at Grace Lutheran Church for Regina “Jean” Davidson, who passed away Wednesday morning at Hospice House Jean was born December 1, 1924 in Youngstown a daughter of the late Paul and Regina (Drotleff) Nemenz. A 1943 graduate of South High School, she worked as a bookkeeper for Isaly’s Dairy and retired from Austintown Tool and Die. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, sang in the choir and was a charter member of Rachael Circle at the church. She was a member of Austintown Friends of the Library and the Youngstown Saxon Club. Jean was a charter member of Sweetbriar Garden Club where she served as President and Treasurer, was a member of IKEBANA Garden Club also serving as President and Treasurer. She was on the Ohio Judges Council serving as Treasurer. Her husband John H. Davidson Jr., whom she married July 9, 1955, passed away March 22, 2009. Jean is survived by two children: Amy (Jim Constas) Davidson of Canfield, and John H. Davidson III of Lake Milton; one grandson: David Constas. Besides her parents and husband, Jean is preceded in death by one sister Hilda Theiss. The family would like to thank the staffs of Victoria House, 2 NW at Northside Medical Center and of Hospice House for their care and compassion.
