Renea Cooke--55 Berlin Center—Services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Phyllis Renea Cooke, 55, of Berlin Center, who passed away Sunday morning with her family by her side. Renea was born May 9, 1949 in Philippi, West Virginia, the daughter of Phil and Ramona (Galford) Lowther. She was a 1967 graduate of Girard High School, had been employed at Packard Electric for twelve years and a floral designer thereafter. Renea was a Jehovah’s Witness and a member of the Salem Congregation Kingdom Hall. She will be lovingly missed by her husband Winton Cooke, whom she married June 8, 1968, and their four children; Launa (Ron) Martin of Berlin Center, Phil Cooke of Austintown Ohio, Kristen (Tom) Manbeck of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, and Matthew still at home. Renea also leaves her mother, two sisters; Kim Lowther and Joetta (Jay) Myers all of Girard, and five grandchildren; Angela Henderson, Kyle and Brandon Martin, and Madison and Nikole Cooke. She was preceded in death by her father, Phil Lowther. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
