Richard A. Bell

Austintown - Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Richard A. Bell age 57 of 356 Rutland Ave. who died early Sat. morning in St. Elizabeth Medical Center after a courageous six year battle with melanoma. Richard was born March 23, 1947 in New Brighton, Pa. and was the son of W. Russel and Claudette (LaPerriere) Bell. He retired April 1, 2004 after 24 years from Delphi Packard where he had been a skilled trades estimator. He was an avid golfer, loved dirt bike racing, traveling and had served as a Sgt. in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Richard leaves his wife, the former Kathy Gould whom he married July 30, 1969. He also leaves his father of Sun City, FL, a daughter Julie Bell and a son Steve Bell both of Austintown and a brother William R. Bell II of Brandon, FL. Friend may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM on Monday. The family request that material contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
