Richard E. Fox

Niles- Funerals services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Richard E. Fox, age 85 of 722 Lafayette who died 10 AM Sunday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Richard was born Sept. 25, 1921 in Rockwood, Pa. and was the son of the late Homer and Elizabeth (Musholder) Fox. He retired from U.S. Steel in McDonald, 18 Mill, after 38 years where he had worked in maintenance. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in McDonald and was an avid fisherman and loved to make fishing bait. Richard is survived by his wife, the former Eleanor M. Reese whom he married Dec. 19, 1939. He also leaves his son Robert D. Fox at home and two sisters Shirley Meyers of Georgia and Betty Klink of Poland. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Wednesday and a half-hour prior to services on Thursday. The family requests that material contributions be made to the First Baptist Church in McDonald.
