Richard E. Maynard

Richard E. Maynard passed away Thursday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Richard was born August 27, 1963 in Youngstown a son of Elmer and Grace (Ripple) Maynard Sr. He was a former owner and operator of R&T Towing and Hauling. He enjoyed working on cars and riding motorcycles and ATV’s. Richard is survived by his mother Grace Maynard of Youngstown; his wife Tina whom he married July 15, 1999; seven children: Eva and Roxanne Maynard of Austintown, Richard Maynard Jr., Ashley, Brittney, Courtney, and Destaney Phillips all of Youngstown; two sisters Darlene Scarfo and Cheryl Hunt of Youngstown, one brother Elmer Maynard Jr. of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father. Calling hours will be from 5-8 PM Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday. The family requests that contributions be made to Lane Funeral Home in Richard’s name.
