Richard G. Massie

October 23, 1948 — August 15, 2006

Richard “Ric” Massie, 57, passed away August 15, 2006, at his home, following a short battle with cancer. He was born in Youngstown, the son of Betty and Glenn Massie. He resided most of his life in Warren and Tucson, AZ. He was employed by Millinium Power Services, of Westfield, MA. Ric enjoyed riding his Harley, traveling, spending time with his family and friends, and making people laugh. Along with his beloved companion and caregiver, Kim Toboz and her daughter Amber of Warren, Ric leaves two sons, Richard Massie (Bridget) of Mansfield, Ryan Massie of Havealock, NC, one daughter Kim Bowers of Warren. He is also survived by his mother Betty Massie of Southington, one brother Alan Massie of Warren, three sisters Judy Mills (Joe) of Southington, Jan Nemcik (Bill) of Vienna, Laura Cash (Frank) of Cookeville, TN, six grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews, and many, many, friends. He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Massie in 1987. Those who survive him, will cherish his memory, and will sadly miss him. Rev. Steven A. Sespico will conduct a Memorial Service Friday August 18, at 6:00 PM at Warren Church of God, 2609 Weir Rd. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
