Richard G. Oslovic

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Canfield, preceded by closing prayers at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel at 9:20 AM for Richard G. Oslovic, who passed away Wednesday at the Cleveland Clinic. Richard was born July 2, 1953 in Youngstown a son of Frank and Susan (Deamer) Oslovic. He graduated from Hubbard High School in 1971 and attended Youngstown State University. He was currently an insurance agent with Nationwide for the past 30 years. Richard was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, where he was an usher and founded the St. Michael's Men's Golf League. He had previously taught CCD at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown. Richard enjoyed golfing and bowling, and was a coach and sponsor for Austintown Youth Baseball. He is survived by his mother of Hubbard; wife the former Diane Caringola, whom he married May 19, 1973; his son Richard Scott Oslovic of Monroe, LA; and three sisters: Barbara (Earl) Pennell of Cortland, Bernadette (Richard) Hodor of Boardman, and Patricia Oslovic of Hubbard. Richard is preceded in death by his father. Friends may call from 4 PM until 8 PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
