Youngstown,- Funeral services will be held 10 AM Sat. at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Richard H. Latimer, Sr. age 65 of 256 Bouquet Ave. who died early Monday morning at his home. Richard was born May 17, 1939 in Youngstown and was the son of Paul Latimer and Helen (Howard) Latimer Bullen. He had worked for Waste Management where he was a truck driver. He was a member of Mahoning United Methodist Church, was an avid baseball and football fan, had served in the U.S. Navy and the National Guard and loved his dog D.G. Richard is survived by his wife the former Harriet Gerhart whom he married July 19, 1960, a daughter Rebecca (Eric) Tuchek of Youngstown, four sons Richard (Jennifer) Latimer Jr. of Brookfield, David (Tonya) Latimer, Terry Latimer and Paul Latimer all of Youngstown, a sister Donna Jean Dudak and a brother Paul Latimer, Jr. both of Youngstown, 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He greatly loved Carolyn, Tara and Eric, his grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Ray Latimer and a brother Robert Latimer. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-5 and 7-9 PM Friday. The family requests that material contributions be made to the American Lung Assoc.
