Richard L. Bullen, Jr.

Memorial services will be held at 6:30pm Thursday at the Christian Life Church, 6101 S. Raccoon Rd. in Canfield for Richard L. Bullen, Jr. who died Saturday at his residence. He was born August 25, 1962 in Youngstown, a son of Richard L. and Marjorie (Collette) Bullen, Sr. He was a 1981 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and he worked as an independent general contractor. He lived in Moore County, NC for several years before returning to the area. He was of the Pentecostal faith and had been attending the Christian Life Church. He was a handyman at heart and he enjoyed fixing anything and everything. He also enjoyed working on cars, was an avid NASCAR fan, and he loved creating and repairing jewelry. He is survived by his parents of Austintown; two daughters; Amanda Lynn Bullen of Girard, and Abbie Lynn Bullen of Poland; a brother, Rev. William (Ingrid) Bullen of Carthage, NC; and two sisters; Marjorie “Cissy” (Thomas) Glunt of Austintown and Debra (Jeffrey) Friend of Raleigh, NC. Friends may call from 4:30-6:30pm Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lane Funeral Home in Richard’s memory. Arrangements are being handled by the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
