Richard Lee Schoch

MINERAL RIDGE: Richard L. Schoch, age 78, passed away Friday, July 05, 2013 at Vista Care at the Ridge. Born May 9, 1935 in Uniontown, Pa., he was the son of John and Anna (Ondrejko) Schoch; Richard had formerly lived in both Sharon, PA. as well as Warren. Richard retired in 1989 from Thomas Steel after 30 years of service. He was a US Army Veteran, loved to bowl, play golf, and he loved animals. He is survived by his children: Deborah Hissong of Seville, Kimberly Santagata and Diane Orr both of Warren, and Laurie Groom of Colorado Springs, CO.; 12 grandchildren; and brother William Schoch of Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son John Richard Schoch, and a sister Patricia Schoch. Friends will be received at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 5-7PM. Burial will take place on Tuesday at 12:30 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Services have been entrusted to Lane Family funeral Home, Mineral Ridge (330-652-4214).
