Richard M. Palazzini

RICHARD M. PALAZZINI Richard M. Palazzini of 418 Golf Drive, SE, Brookfield, Ohio, died at 9:40 PM Saturday at Sharon Regional; Health Care System after a brief illness. He was 87. Mr. Palazzini was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania on February 11, 1918, a son of Frank and Frances (Levrangi) Palazzini. After graduating from Sharon High School in 1936, Richard went on to serve our country during WWII in the U.S. Army as a Staff SGT. His decorations included; Army of Occupation Medal, WWII Victory Medal, and the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. He retired after 35 years of service as a Welder for G.A.T.X., Masury. His memberships included; Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sharon, Pennsylvania, and the Knights of Columbus, Masury. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed traveling with his wife and visiting with his family. Survivors include: brother, Leo Palazzini, Jacksonville, Florida; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his wife, Florence M. (Sale) Palazzini, whom he married July 18, 1942, she died October 26, 1997. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sharon, with Rev. John Lody, Pastor of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Masury, OH. Calling hours will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday at Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
