Rick Barbone

Ellsworth- Services celebrating the life of Rick Barbone will be held at 5 pm Sunday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Rick was born December 23, 1954 in Youngstown the son of Sam and Valerie (Story) Barbone. Rick retired in May of 2006 from General Motors in Lordstown where he had worked in the paint department. He graduated from Jackson-Milton High School in 1973. He was an avid hunter, loved car shows and riding his motorcycle. Rick made it a habit of always eating his desert first before his meal. Rick's real love was spending time with his twin grandchildren. Rick will be sadly missed by his parents of North Jackson, his wife Debbie (Balogh) Barbone whom he married May 31, 1980 son, Rick (Mallory) Barbone of Lordstown daughter, Amanda Barbone of Austintown, grandchildren, Zackary and Gabriella. He is also survived by his siblings; Angie Barbone of Upstate New York, Sam Barbone Jr. in Pennsylvania, Judy (Roy) Ashbaugh in Montana and his in-laws Duke and Rose Balogh of Austintown. Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents. He also will be missed by his loyal companion "Maverick". Family and friends may call from 2-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
