Robert A. Gumina

Robert A. Gumina of Niles, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening June 16, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 48 years old. Bobby was born on April 28, 1964 in Warren, Ohio the son of Peter and Dora (Cogan) Gumina. He was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and went on to work as an operator for W.C.I. Steel now currently R.G. Steel in Warren for more than twenty-six years. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union and loved spending time riding motorcycles and had enjoyed cooking. His greatest love above all was spending quality time taking trips and doing various activities with his beloved children Nicholas and Jenna. Bobby will be deeply missed by his children Nicholas R. Gumina and Jenna Marie Gumina both of Howland, OH; his mother Dora Gumina of Niles, OH; sister Tracy E. Gumina of Cortland, OH; his companion Lynetta Marino of Niles with whom he made his home; and the mother of his children Jennifer Gallucci of Howland, OH. He was preceded in death by his father Peter on December 18, 2011 and by his brother Timothy J. Gumina on September 1, 1993. A funeral service will be held on Saturday June 23, 2012 beginning at 4:00PM with his cousin Rev. Kevin Grubbs officiating at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Niles Chapel 415 Robbins Avenue Niles, Ohio 44446. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00PM prior to the service.
