North Jackson- Funeral services will be held 12 pm Friday at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, West Virginia for Robert Pyles Sr. who died Sunday at his residence. Robert was born September 25, 1935 in Preston County West Virginia the son of Gerald Edwin and Barbara Ruth Wilt Pyles. Robert was a member of Disciples of Jesus Fellowship and Victory Harvest Ministries and was the Yard Boss of the family. He is survived by children; Karen (Kenneth) Taylor of Warren, Robert A. (Diann) Pyles Jr. of Newton Falls, Kathryn (Joseph) Humberston of Austintown, Shari (Randall) DeBolt of North Jackson, Mark (Sherry) Pyles of Port Orange, FL. and Scott (Lisa) Pyles of Diamond, Ohio. Grandchildren; Chris, Tawnya, Ryan, Keith, Tony, Larry, Josh, Anna, Chelsey, Matt, Melissa, Jamie, Jackie and Donnie, and great grandson Ian. He is also survived by brothers; Ronald L. (Virginia) Pyles Sr. of Paris Twp., James E. Pyles Sr. of Newburgh W. Va., Gerald W. (Martha) Pyles of Lake Milton, Earl Ray (Lou) Pyles of Tunnelton, W. Va. and sisters; Ethel (Harry) Teets and Shirley (Red) May both from Austintown. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jrettia (Teets) Pyles whom he married March 26, 1954, died May 2, 1995, brothers; Gene and Paul Pyles, his parents and a grandson Jerimiah. Family and friends in Ohio may call from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Family and friends in West Virginia may call from 5-8 pm Thursday at the Browning Funeral Home.
