Robert E. Shackelford

Canfield- There are no services or calling hours for Robert E. Shackelford of Canfield who passed away at his home on Tuesday morning. Mr. Shackelford was born May 27, 1938 in Youngstown the son of Arthur and Arlene (Lewis) Shackelford. A Navy Veteran, Robert had retired from LTV Steel in Youngstown in 1984. Besides his wife, Carol (Overdorf) Shackelford whom he married June 16, 1984, he leaves three children Robert D. Shackelford of Struthers, Christine Bacha of Austintown, Wendy Potkanowicz of Austintown, as well as two stepchildren: Steven Durrett of Boardman, and Carrie Whitehouse of Poland. Robert also leaves his mother and ten grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his father in 1966.
