Robert F. Corll Jr.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Robert F. Corll Jr., 67, will be held at 1 PM Thursday at the chapel at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. Robert passed away Friday afternoon at Hospice House surrounded by his love ones. He was born March 13, 1951 in Youngstown the son of Robert F. Sr. and Naoma (Upole) Corll and was a lifelong area resident. Bob was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School class of 1969 and had been a Tool and Die Machinist for 40 years, retiring in 2016. He was a member of Grace Nazarene Church. Bob loved taking cruises with his wife Mary Ann, vacations with his family, "his" Canfield Fair, but most of all it was the time he spent with his grandchildren that meant the most to him. Bob leaves his wife the former Mary Ann Davis whom he married September 5, 2003. He also leaves three children, Rachael (James) Kostelic Jr. of Canfield, Amy (Jeremy) Greer of West Middlesex, PA, and Steve (Monica) Corll of Youngstown as well as 13 grandchildren. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, the former, Mary Elizabeth Maher, whom he married August 2, 1975. She passed away November 21, 2001, He was also preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Lindsay. Family and friends may gather at the chapel in Green Haven Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 27, where services will begin at 1 PM. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
