Robert G. Jones

Youngstown- Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Robert Jones who died Sunday morning at his residence. Robert was born July 7, 1918 in Kane, PA. the son of Homer Scott Jones and Jenny Bell Jones. Robert retired in the mid 1980s from Servi-Clean Industries in Youngstown where he was Fleet Superintendent for over 20 years. He was a fan of auto racing and was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marian (Aggers) Jones whom he married January 6, 1940, sons; Robert A. Jones of North Lima, Timmie G. Jones of Vermillion, grandchildren; Robert Scott Jones and Roberta Reutner. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters. Family and friends may call from 1-2 pm Wednesday prior to funeral services. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to, Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, NC 27317
