Robert Henry Usher, 80, of Warren, passed away peacefully, Thursday April 5, 2012 at his home with his family at his side. He was born February 9, 1932 in Fayette City, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Henry and Virginia (McFall) Usher. Robert was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Marine Corps from 1950-1954, in the 1st Marine Division, George Company. After his honorable discharge, he began working at Packard Electric, where he retired after 30 years, in 1991. He was a member of the Lake Milton VFW and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife and companion of 23 years Bonita, a brother, Jack (Hazel) Usher, of Bethpage, T.N., two daughters; Karen Lynn Patridge, of Greensboro, N.C., and Cheryl Ann Usher, of San Diego, C.A., two step-daughters; Sharon (David) Browning and Renee (Daryl) Hopson both of Warren, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a son Robert H. Usher Jr. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 9th, 2012, at 12PM, at the Roberts Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren. Friends will be received from 11AM until the time of the service. Pastor Ebenezer Appiagyei will officiate the service.
