Robert E. Jennings, 79 Youngstown- Funeral services will be held on Friday May 2, 2014 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 8387 Tod Ave., Boardman Chapel for at 11:00 am for Robert E. Jennings, 79, of Youngstown who died Sunday April 28, 2014 at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center, Columbiana. Robert was born February 13, 1935 in Youngstown, a son of the late George H. and Eunice M. (Neely) Jennings and was a lifelong area resident. Robert graduated from Chaney High School and had served in the U.S. Airforce. Robert worked for General Motors Corp. for many years where he was retired. He was a member of Christ United Presbyterian Church, the Hillman Lodge #481 F. and A.M. Robert also was an avid golfer and enjoyed woodworking, but especially enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends His wife, the former Mary K. Wycuff, whom he married November 12, 1956_ died August 17, 2013. He leaves his four children Robert Jennings, Joann Jennings, Kathleene Wingrove and Ronald Jennings all of Youngstown, his grandchildren Julie Jennings, Angela and Hayley Wingrove and Daniel Enright. Besides his parents, and his wife Robert was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Ronald. Friends may call on Thursday May 1from 5-8pm at Lane Family Funeral homes, Boardman Chapel and Friday May 2 from 10 am until the time of the services at 11am.
