Robert K. Stiles, 64, of Warren, passed peacefully on Monday evening. He was born November 5, 1949 in Morgantown, West Virginia the son of Lawrence "Ralph" and Bonnie McIe Stiles. In his early childhood, he moved to Cortland with his family. Robert was a graduate of Maplewood High School. He relocated to San Diego, Calif., where he and his beloved wife, Corinne "Corky" Stiles raised their two children, Shane Aaron and Amber Lyn. Robert enjoyed many years as a master mechanic including owning his own business, Stiles Auto Repair. He also enjoyed designing and building remote controlled scale model boats with which he won many awards. He was an avid painter, writer and enjoyed tinkering in his workshop that he and his son-in-law built together. He followed the Cleveland Indians through the team's ups and downs, loudly providing his opinion on their performance. In his later years, Robert became heavily involved in animal rescue and supported his wife's cause, TNR of Warren, naming himself her "biggest volunteer". His memory will be carried on by his wife of 42 years, Corky; son, Shane (Mayra) of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Amber (Kenneth) of Cortland and his three grandsons, Ryan, Ethan and Aidan of San Diego. Following cremation, there will be a private ceremony and celebration of his life at the home of his daughter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent, in his name, to: TNR of Warren, P.O. Box 2477, Warren, OH 44484.
