Robert L. Rose

There will be a Celebration of Life Wednesday October 3, 2007 at Ohltown United Methodist Church for Robert L. Rose who passed away Thursday morning at his home of ALS. Robert was born November 21, 1936 in Niles a son of the late Harry L. and Hazel (Wood) Rose. He had been a foreman with Packard Electric retiring in 1992. Robert was an active member of the Ohltown United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Niles-McKinley Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed golfing and woodworking and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife the former Nancy Pritchard, whom he married April 6, 1957; four children: Robert (Rita) Rose Jr. of Hermitage, PA, Rick Rose and Sherry Rose both of Niles, and Jim (Amy) Rose of Canfield; one brother Harry (Nancy) Rose of San Diego, CA; and five grandchildren: Ashley, Chase, Alivia, Spencer, and Ireland. Besides his parents, Robert is preceded in death by a sister Alice Patterson. Friends may call from 10:30 AM until 11 AM Wednesday at the church prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ohltown United Methodist Church. Lane Funeral Home Niles has been entrusted with the arrangements.
