Robert Lee Breese, of Boardman, passed away at 3:50 a.m. Thursday, January 06, 2011, in his home. He was 75 years old. Mr. Breese was born on April 16, 1935 in Washington, Pennsylvania the son of the late Howard O. and Alice (Mounts) Breese and was a graduate of Trinity High School. Mr. Breese retired from Youngstown Sheet & Tube LTV Steel in Youngstown after working for 35 years as a machinist. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Youngstown and enjoyed watching wrestling. Mr. Breese leaves behind his wife of 52 years the former Ettie Clark whom he married on December 4, 1958 and together they shared the love of seven children Jack (Regina) Breese, Becky (Aaron) Kinser, Terri (Frisco) Valadez all of Cleveland, TN, Rob (Susan) Breese of Ellsworth, Sam (Cindy Glasser) Breese of North Lima and Jodi (Don) Zimmerman of Ellsworth Twp.; twenty one grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by six sisters and one brother, Esther Thomas of Claysville, PA, Estella Martin of Washington, PA, Laura Main of Claysville, PA, Dorothy Clark of Berlin Center, Shirley Lindley and Patricia Westwood both of Phoenix, AZ and Homer Dwane Breese of Salem. Besides his parents, Mr. Breese was preceded in death by a son Bill Breese. Calling hours for Robert will take place on Friday (TODAY) January 7, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel, 65 N. Broad St, Canfield, Ohio 44406. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Robert’s name to Bethel Assembly of God, 3807 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44515.
