Robert William Orr

Robert William Orr, age 63, formerly of Warren, died Wednesday morning, February 10, 2016, at Park Center Health Care in Boardman. He was born November 17, 1952 in Warren the son of the late Robert Bernard and Naomi Ruth Collins Orr. Bob was a 1970 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, where he was a member of the varsity wrestling team and then he attended YSU. He worked as a manager at the Downtown Motel in Warren and as a night desk clerk and in the restaurant at the Town and Country Motel many years ago. Bob had been a member of the former Second Christian Church in Warren, where in his youth he was a member of Boy Scout Troop No. 5, attaining his Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow awards. He served as a caregiver for his parents for several years. He is survived by one brother, James M. (Marlene) Orr of Lakewood Ranch, Florida and several nieces and nephews. One brother, Randall S. Evans preceded him in death. There will be no calling hours or services. A private family graveside gathering and burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.
