Robin W. Hendricks

Canfield- A Memorial service will be held 4 pm Sunday at the Canfield United Methodist Church for Robin Hendricks who died at the Cleveland Clinic. Robin was born March 24, 1948 in Poland, the son of Paul Lewis and Janet Louise (Miller) Hendricks. Robin was a science teacher for Warren JFK Schools for the last seven years, prior to teaching at JFK he taught at Canfield High School. He graduated from Western Reserve High School in 1966, and then received his BS in Education from Kent State University. He also worked at Professional Engines in Canfield for ten years. Robin enjoyed computers, cars and fishing. He was a member of the National Science Teachers Association. In 2004, the Tribune Chronicle named him an Outstanding Teacher in Trumbull County and in 2005 he was awarded Outstanding Partner of Education, from the University of Toledo College of Engineering. He is survived by his wife Susan (Kannal) whom he married June 12, 1971, children; Jennifer Ann Hendricks in Fayettville, N.C. and Douglas Alan Hendricks at home. He is also survived by brothers; Paul Hendricks and Karel Cubick both of Canfield. Robin was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from 3-4 pm Sunday at the church. The family requests that Memorial contributions take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
