Roger E. Jennings, of Canfield, passed away early Thursday morning in his home of complications from cancer. He was 59 years old. Roger was born May 12, 1951 in Akron, Ohio the son of Emory and Marjorie (Boggio) Jennings and was a 1969 graduate of Field High School. Roger was presently employed for the last 40 years with General Motors Lordstown Complex. He was also retired from the Austintown Fire Department where he served the community for over 20 years. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and the HOG (Harley Owners Group). Roger had a passion for photography and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Roger is survived by his wife of 27 years the former Carolyn Klaric whom he married on September 25, 1982 and together they shared the love of two children Jason Jennings of Cornersburg and Keri Jennings at home and a granddaughter Malena Jennings. Roger is also survived by his mother Marjorie Jennings of Austintown and a brother Richard Jennings of Columbus. Roger was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Calling hours will take place on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 2 until 4 p.m. in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave, Austintown, Ohio, 44515. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, where family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Chapel.
