Roger R. Ramm, Sr.

ROGER R. RAMM, SR. Canfield- Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel from 5-8 PM Thursday for Roger R. Ramm, Sr., age 78 of Canfield who died Tuesday morning in St. Elizabeth Emergency Room. Roger was born July 18, 1929 in Lakewood, OH and was the son of the late John and Helene (Luzius) Ramm. He retired in 1992 from General Motors where he had worked in salvage repair. Roger was a member of St. Christines Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles #3298 in Austintown, American Legion Post #610 in Brookpark, OH and a member of U.A.W. Local #1714. He had served his country serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Roger is survived by his wife, the former Vivian Goretski whom he married Sept. 17, 1955. He leaves a son Roger R. Ramm, Jr. at home and two grandchildren, Christopher and Emily Ramm. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Robert and a brother Eugene. There are no funeral services.
