AUSTINTOWN ---Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church for Mr. Ronald Schoch, 77, of Austintown, who passed away Monday evening at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Ronald was born November 17, 1925 in Troutville, PA. A son of Harry and Gladys Schoch and came to the area in 1943. Ronald was retired from Republic Rubber / Aeroquip Corp. / Republic Hose Corp., Where he worked for more than 35 years. He was a staff sergeant in the Infantry, Company E, of the U.S. Army, serving in France and Germany, and received the Bronze Star Medal. He was a member of the church, its Men’s Breakfast Club and Christian Fellowship Class. Ronald was also a member of the Circle 8 Square Dance Club for more than 25 years and was an active volunteer for the Multiple Sclerosis Service Agency of the Mahoning Valley. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Frances Kicher, whom he married May 17, 1952; Two daughters, Linda (Bob) Rupp of Austintown, and Brenda (Bob) Williams of Canfield; a son, Jeff (Connie) Schoch of Salem; four grandchildren; Kevin, Kelly, and Katie Williams and Kaitlin Schoch; tow brothers, William of Warren and Harold of Manassas, Va.; a sister Mary Bonsall of Troutville, PA. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM today at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. The Family request that material tributes take the form of donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Service agency, the American Heart Association, or the memorial fund at of Western Reserve United Methodist Church
