Ronald Kraynak, 69, of Masury, OH, passed away early Saturday afternoon March 19, 2011 at Hospice House in Poland following a courageous battle with Angio-Sarcoma Cancer. He was born in Youngstown, OH on August 25, 1941, a son of the late Joseph and Jennie (Madey) Kraynak. Ron was a 1959 graduate of Hubbard High School and went on to work for Packard Electric as a forklift operator for more than thirty-two years before his retirement in 1991. Throughout his life he was known as an excellent woodworker, he also enjoyed hunting, working crossword puzzles, and spending time on his beloved boat on Lake Erie fishing for both Walleye and Perch. He was currently a member of the Ashtabula Elks and had formerly been a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He is survived by his wife and love of more than thirty years the former Carol Wanchisn at home; five children Lori (Dan) Scheidegger of Burghill, OH, Ron J. Kraynak and his fianc�e Carla of Taylorsville, Utah, Tammy (Tom) Byerly of Alexandria, IN, Kendra (Jack) Englebaugh of Kinsman, OH, and Bill VanHoose of Columbus, OH; his brother Joseph (Irene) Kraynak of Burghill, OH; his mother-in-law Helen Wanchisn; he is also survived by seven beloved grandchildren Desiree, Brittany, Courtney, Trey, Cortney, Kari, and Adam; two great-grandchildren Kristopher and Julieann; and by many loving nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Edward Kraynak. Calling hours for friends and family will be held on Wednesday evening March 23, 2011 from 4:00-7:00PM at the Madasz Funeral Chapel 6923 Warren-Sharon Road in Brookfield, OH where a funeral service will follow beginning at 7:00PM. Burial will be in West View Cemetery in Vernon Township.
