Ronald W. Goodman

East Liverpool-Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel to celebrate the life of Ronald Goodman formerly of North Jackson who died Friday morning while traveling to Texas. Ron was born September 24, 1937 in Salem the son of Wilbur and Leona (Sternagle) Goodman and moved to East Liverpool nine months ago. Ron retired in 1985 from Youngstown Welding where he had worked almost 30 years. He loved to attend auctions and collect and sell antiques. He attended meetings with the retirees from the local welding union. He is survived by his sister Elaine Fleischer of Youngstown, nephew John Fleischer, niece Adele Schisler, great niece McKenna Schisler and his fiancée Amanda Blazer. Ron was preceded in death by his wife the former Betty Schisler in 2002 and his parents. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
