Rose Anna Clifford, 89, formerly of Leavittsburg, died Monday morning, August 6, 2007 at 2:40AM at the Windsor House in Champion where she was a resident. Born in Youngstown, March 21, 1918, Rose was the daughter of the late Daniel and Rose (Patrick) Jones. A graduate of Palmyra High School in 1936, Rose was a homemaker. She had also been a member of the First Community Church of Leavittsburg. She married John F. Clifford May 29, 1937. John preceded her in death in 1991. Together they shared 53 years of marriage and four children. She will be dearly missed by her children, John D. “Jack” and his wife Judy Clifford of Howland Twp., Claudia and her husband Kenneth Berry of Newton Falls, Michael and his wife Barbara Clifford of Leavittsburg, and daughter-in-law Susan Clifford of Brookfield, four grand children, Kimberly Berry of Las Vegas, NV, Kevin Berry of Austintown, Tara Kolezar of Nelson Twp., and Christopher Clifford of Leavittsburg, four great grandchildren, Tannor and Makayla Berry and Racquel and Dean Kolezar. Rose was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Clifford, grandson David John Clifford, five brothers, and a sister. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 12 Noon at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel where family and friends may visit for one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in the Braceville Twp. Cemetery. Material Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army at 270 Franklin St. SE Warren, OH 44483.
