Royal C. Whitfield

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Royal C. Whitfield of Niles who passed away Saturday morning at his residence. Royal was born June 19, 1927 in Anita, PA the son of Thomas and Lotta (Hamm) Whitfield. He was a burner for the William B. Pollock Co. for 32 years retiring in 1983 he was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Niles and a veteran of the United States Army of WWII. He is survived by his wife the former Shirley Byers whom he married October 28, 1967, two sisters Anna Wheeler of Anita, PA and Evelyn Clinger of Brookfield, PA. He is preceded in death by three brothers Thomas, John, and George Whitfield. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel from 6-8 PM Monday evening and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
